With experience spanning 24 years in the health field as a chiropractor, nutritionist, dietician, researcher, writer and professional speaker, Dr. Schwontkowski brings copious knowledge of the world of alternative medicine and conversely of the harms that can be suffered from dangerous drugs and devices.
Donna is the author of numerous books and has featured on her own television show in the Sacramento, California, area for over four years. Additionally, she has taught community health classes on nutrition, weight loss and natural methods to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol for years. Dr. Schwontkowski has written for Drug Law Journal on the Johnson and Johnson recall of talc and the associated lawsuits.
“I feel it’s important that the public understand how much of their physical and mental health depend on common sense approaches to proper nutrition and fitness. For many people, there is this belief, furthered by a great deal of money spent by large, global companies, that more complex and invasive drugs, devices and surgeries will help us…when in fact, it’s these very same products that do some of the worst harm.
Donna lives in Sacramento and enjoys her role as a public advocate for health and nutrition. She has a doctor of chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic, as well as masters and bachelors degrees in nutrition from Northern Illinois State University.
